So how does the whole coupons on cellphone thing work?

A lot of new members do not fully understand how to use the coupons. Here is an explenation:

The concept is very simple, members receive coupon text messages to their cellphones.

The coupon text will describe the special value of the coupon as well as the date until which the coupon in valid and the place/s where you can redeem the coupon.

For most cases, you will be able to use the coupon multiple times until it expires. But some coupons are only good for initiating an account or an introductory visit etc. so naturally members will be able to use these just once.

The process of using the coupons is also simple, just show up at the place of business and show the clerk / service provider your cellphone screen with the coupon clearly displayed. THATS IT, you will be granted a discount or a free product on the spot.

We realize that members may not want to keep a ton of coupons on their cellphone at all time. This issue is resolved via the member dashboard screen. When we start sending coupons to members, the MY COUPONS area of the dashboard will become active. The short display will show only the newest coupons that became available to the members but if the show-all button is pressed members will see the entire list of coupons that is available to them. Members will be able to resend coupons they have deleted from their phone but are still valid back to their phone. HOWEVER (this is a biggie, hence the CAPS) members will be paid only once per coupon so if they resend a coupon they already received in the past and deleted, they will not be paid again.

Members can forward the coupons to their non-member friends so that they can enjoy the discount themselves but only members will receive financial benefits from receiving coupons.
