A lot of new members do not fully understand how to use the coupons. Here is an explenation:
The concept is very simple, members receive coupon text messages to their cellphones.
The coupon text will describe the special value of the coupon as well as the date until which the coupon in valid and the place/s where you can redeem the coupon.
For most cases, you will be able to use the coupon multiple times until it expires. But some coupons are only good for initiating an account or an introductory visit etc. so naturally members will be able to use these just once.
The process of using the coupons is also simple, just show up at the place of business and show the clerk / service provider your cellphone screen with the coupon clearly displayed. THATS IT, you will be granted a discount or a free product on the spot.
We realize that members may not want to keep a ton of coupons on their cellphone at all time. This issue is resolved via the member dashboard screen. When we start sending coupons to members, the MY COUPONS area of the dashboard will become active. The short display will show only the newest coupons that became available to the members but if the show-all button is pressed members will see the entire list of coupons that is available to them. Members will be able to resend coupons they have deleted from their phone but are still valid back to their phone. HOWEVER (this is a biggie, hence the CAPS) members will be paid only once per coupon so if they resend a coupon they already received in the past and deleted, they will not be paid again.
Members can forward the coupons to their non-member friends so that they can enjoy the discount themselves but only members will receive financial benefits from receiving coupons.

Like Waiting for Christmas!
So yeah Ugotitfirst is an AWESOME company. Some of you may be agetting a little frustrated by the wait for advertisers. Remember we just launched last month..... were about to start advertising.
This kind of reminds me how it’s like getting all excited about Christmas, going shopping, wrapping presents, going caroling, putting up the tree, then...
...realizing that it’s only August! Sigh. (no wonder why the neighbors threw a shoe at me halfway through my rendition of Jungle Bells).
Back to my original thought. It’s hard to get all excited about this great startup company, refer all your friends (and even your in-laws), and then wait for your phone to buzz. Or jingle. Or whatever it does when you get a text message.
And wait...
Like all great businesses, Ugotitfirst wants to make sure it does it right. So while you’re working hard to build up your referrals, we're busting our butts making sure that we have plenty of ads to send you (and plenty of happy advertisers to continue sending ads for a long long time).
Word of the day: PATIENCE! Those messages will come, and like those presents on Christmas morning, they’ll be worth the wait!
