I want to know who has done this. You’re thumbing through your “wad” of ads that gets crammed into your mailbox each week, and you see a coupon for your FAVORITE cookies! It’s a pretty good deal, so you start snipping.
You think, “I’m already going to the store, I may as well see what other coupons there are in here.”
You find:
· A buy 10 get one free coupon for toothpaste (who can resist a deal like that?
· A coupon for 50% nail polish (ok so you haven’t wore nail polish since 1998, but 50% off? Wowza!)
· A 10 lb tub of peanut butter on sale for 8.99—regular $16.99 (Woah....what a deal...the kids LOVE PB&J!)
So you get to the store, put all these things in your cart, and as the cashier is ringing you up, you realize that YOU LEFT YOUR COUPONS AT HOME! Frustrated, you decide to just pay for your stuff and get outta there.
On the way home, you’re so mad that you eat the entire box of cookies, and wonder how you’re going to explain 11 tubes of toothpaste and a vat of peanut butter to your husband.
We’ve all done this....right? Right...? *sigh*
